Mediation

Mediation is a powerful process that brings parties in conflict together, guided by a neutral mediator, to find common ground and reach mutually beneficial solutions. It's a conversation where differences are explored, understanding is deepened, and agreements are forged, all while avoiding the adversarial atmosphere of a courtroom or giving up your autonomy to an arbitrator.

At its core, mediation empowers you to take control of resolving disputes, whether they're personal, professional, or in any other area of your life. It's a flexible and constructive approach that prioritizes collaboration, open communication, and creative problem-solving.

While we excel in various mediation types, we specialize in workplace and community mediation.

A typical mediation package consists of one hour of individual time with each party and a three-hour joint session which can be broken up into two 1.5 hour sessions. This is flexible though as each mediation is unique and can be tailored to suit needs. 

Pricing: $175 CAD an hour (minimum 5 hours). 

At the end of the pre-paid mediation session, there are three possible outcomes:

  1. Resolution: A mutually agreed-upon deal in writing.
  2. No Resolution: The conflict may require alternative resolution methods such as court or arbitration.
  3. Continued Mediation: If the parties feel a resolution can still be achieved with more time in mediation.

We are Full Members with ADRIO (Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario) and ADRIC (Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada). In order to achieve this membership we've done the necessary training and have liability insurance specific to mediation.
